INS awards two STARS orders

The Immigration and Naturalization Service awarded Computer Sciences Corp. two task orders worth $48 million to provide IT support for the agency's Service Technology Alliance Resources program.
Each task order has a one-year base period and a one-year option.
A $26 million task order will support the INS Benefits Systems Branch, which handles immigration services such as processing of applications and petitions for immigration.
CSC will work with Daston Corp. of Vienna, Va.; Oracle Corp.; PEC Solutions Inc. of Fairfax, Va.; SI International Inc. of McLean, Va.; and System Analytics Inc. of Washington on the project.
Under a separate, $22 million task order, CSC will support INS' Inspection Systems Branch; it determines the admissibility of people seeking to enter the United States.
CSC will work on the project with Hazmed Inc. of Lanham, Md.; International Microwave Corp. of East Norwalk, Conn.; PEC Solutions; SI International; and System Analytics.
