CDC contracts for knowledge app

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has awarded a $1 million, one-year contract to Conquest Systems Inc. to provide IT services to CDC's Procurement and Grants Office.

The contract, already in effect, has two one-year renewable options. The Washington vendor will develop a knowledge-sharing application and rework the procurement office's internal Web site, said Richard Landry, Conquest Systems president and chief executive officer.

Under a second task order, Conquest Systems will analyze the office's procurement system and make recommendations for Web-enabling it, Landry said.
