The Customs Service has awarded a five-year, $31.5 million contract to CACI International Inc. to help secure information systems throughout the agency.
The contract, awarded through the General Services Administration Program Safeguard, will help Customs ensure that its systems meet federal information assurance requirements.
Under the contract, which has a one-year base period and four option years, the Arlington, Va., company will help Customs devise a security architecture and plan.
CACI will support operations such as how the agency responds to systems breaches and incorporates security into new systems.
