FTS 2001 now has high-speed wireless access
The General Services Administration has added high-speed wireless service from Sprint Corp. to the company's FTS 2001 telecommunications contract.
Sprint is one of the principal carriers under the Federal Technology Service's governmentwide long-haul communications contracts. The addition will make messaging, calendaring and other applications and devices from Sprint's PCS Vision line available to government users.
PCS Vision offers high-speed connectivity for notebook PCs and handheld computers, as well as new devices that can download graphics and Web data.
