The Air Force signs contract for IM license

The Air Force has negotiated an enterprise license for the Bantu Instant Messaging and Presence Platform.

The service bought the application through its Global Combat Support System-Air Force contract with Lockheed Martin Corp.

Bantu Inc. of Washington will make its instant-messaging app available to users of the Air Force Portal. The program lets users build buddy lists and communicate instantaneously with other users online.
