CDC awards $10m pact for health survey

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has awarded Orkand Corp. a $10.4 million contract to provide IT services for a long-running survey done by the National Center for Health Statistics.

The contract is a follow-on agreement for work that the Falls Church, Va., company initially began in 2001 for the national health and nutrition examination survey.
