Robert Liscouski, assistant secretary of Homeland Security for infrastructure protection, this month announced his intent to leave for industry.
Lawrence C. Hale, deputy director for cybersecurity in the Information Analysis and Infrastructure Protection Directorate, also plans to leave the department.
Further, Jack Johnson Jr., the department's chief security officer, also said he would resign his post.
Liscouski is set to become CEO of Content Analyst Co. LLC of Reston, Va.
Liscouski, Johnson and Hale join retired Gen. Frank Libutti, who's leaving his post as undersecretary for information assurance and infrastructure protection, and Amit Yoran, director of the National Cyber Security Division, who left in September.
According to sources in Congress, there are now more than a dozen vacant senior jobs at the department.
Homeland Security spokeswoman Michelle Petrovich declined to specify the number of top-level positions awaiting permanent replacements.
