GCN tech brief | U.S. companies don't trust workers to telecommute

U.S. companies don't trust workers to telecommute. That's the gist of a survey conducted by the Adweb Agency, makers of the Intranet Dashboard portal software. The survey found that 70 percent of the respondents were restricted from teleworking and that the major reasons why telecommuting is not more prevalent are upper management's lack of trust in employees and concerns about reduced productivity.
