Your co-workers in the information technology shop will continue to be mostly of the male persuasion, if a recent survey by Research in Motion is an indicator. The survey asked 1,000 adolescents between the ages of 11 and 16 whether they would consider a career in IT. Almost twice as many boys as girls said they would.

Would consider a career in IT:

28%: GIRLS
53%: BOYS
