EPA launches mobile home page

Agency now has a Web site designed specifically for access via mobile device

The Environmental Protection Agency has launched a new Web site designed specifically for access via mobile phone.

The EPA Mobile Web site (m.epa.gov) provides links to agency news releases, as well as access to several databases that can be searched by ZIP code. You can, for example, check current ultraviolet index readings and air pollution levels for your area, or check for local stores offering Energy Star rebates.

If you’re interested in environmental issues, you can also read and contribute to the EPA’s official blog, titled “Greenversations.”

EPA Mobile also offers links to an additional two dozen federal and state mobile Web sites.
