Looking for a last-minute gag gift for that certain
computer user? Got $50 to burn? If so, you could round up a
Keyboard For Blondes (www.keyboardforblondes. com). Touted as a
“transformational technology,” it’s bright pink
and has dedicated keys for OMG, LOL and other tired phrases, and
has renamed some of its keys (“Oops...” for backspace
and “I need my space” for the space bar). The
F-function keys spell out “USELESS KEYS” and the number
keys have musical notes. If nothing else, it’s bound to get a
laugh (or a sneer, depending) before wearing out its welcome in,
oh, 15 minutes or so. Not likely to be found on the GSA
schedule.
