Windows 7 'fake updates' are on the way
10 phony fixes will automatically install as part of a test of the Windows Update system
Microsoft plans to test Windows 7's update mechanism by feeding users of the just-issued Release Candidate as many as 10 fake updates in the coming week, according to a ComputerWorld report.
