Survey finds feds will be looking for a few good IT pros
Federal agencies will need to hire more than 270,000 new employees during the next three years, information technology pros among them, according to the Partnership for Public Service. The nonprofit organization surveyed 35 federal agencies and found they will need additional help during the next three years to meet the Obama administration's goals and replace a rapidly retiring workforce. For selected agencies, here are how many systems analysis, security, application software, data management and network services jobs will be required in the years ahead.
