It's OK. It’s one of those concepts that can be difficult to grasp, involving as it does "the Internet of things," machine-to-machine formats, ontologies and so forth. But Dennis Wisnosky, chief technical officer with the Defense Department's Office of the Deputy Chief Management Officer and his team can help.
They’ve put an explanation of semantic technology into a concise, understandable video, which Wisnosky included in a talk at 1105 Media’s Enterprise Architecture conference in Vienna, Va., Nov. 7.
