Labor portal eases fed workers' comp filings

Labor Department improved the filing process with ECOMP – the Employees Compensation Operation and Management Portal – a site that often cuts in half the time it takes federal employees to file workers’ compensation claims in the federal workforce, the department said.

Its Web-based forms and the ability to upload and track documents make it easier for federal employees to submit the required documentation for claims. Workers’ comp staff at agencies can use a dashboard to manage claims, send email reminders and even file forms on behalf of workers who are incapacitated.  Find out more on the Labor Department blog.
