FSS commissioner's next stop is Star Mountain

Federal Supply Service commissioner Frank P. Pugliese Jr., who will retire this month after 28 years with the General Services Administration, will take over Sept. 5 as president and chief executive officer of Star Mountain of Alexandria, Va., a unit of Provant Inc. of Boston.
Star Mountain provides government agencies with businesses training, human resources management and information technology services.
"It's a pleasure to welcome Frank to the Provant team. His extensive experience provides him with an ideal background to understand the issues facing government agencies today, and to build bridges to the federal government for Provant's products and services," said Curt Uehlein, Provant's president and chief executive officer, in a written statement.
Donna D. Bennett, Pugliese's deputy, will take over as commissioner next month. Bennett has been the deputy commissioner of FSS since 1994. She joined GSA in 1983. She began her government career in 1969 as an economist at the Civil Aeronautics Board.
