VA to award identity, asset management order to CA

The Veterans Affairs Department intends to award CA of Islandia, N.Y., a contract order for 50,000 identity and asset management licenses and maintenance support for 2,500 existing IAM licenses at its Austin, Texas, Automation Center.

The order is part of an indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract that CA has for software and services with VA's Austin Automation Center for its BuyIT.gov procurement vehicle, a federal acquisition center within the Austin fee-for-service data processing center.

The contract order expands CA's existing baseline for 100,000 Site Minder software licenses and 2,500 administrative licenses. The IAM software will integrate with the Site Minder software, which lets users share authentication across an organization.
