Persystent Edge server

Persystent Technologies has announced the release of Persystent Edge, a server appliance designed for small and midsized organizations that manage between 50 and 500 PCs.

The Persystent Edge server is designed to work with Persystent Suite, the company's flagship technology.

Persystent Suite fixes problems with a PC's operating system, registry, applications and settings every time the computer boots up, according to the company. The suite eliminates the need for reimaging and does not require a healthy operating system to bring the PC back to full functionality, the company said.

The Persystent Edge server appliance is a 1U rack-mount configuration for easy installation and can scale up to 500 users, the company said.
