Michigan merges physical, digital security functions

Michigan is merging its physical and digital security areas into a new organization to be headed by state CTO Dan Lohrmann, GovInfoSecurity.com reports.

Lohrmann will report to state CIO David Behen, who will be director of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Protection, the article added.

The merged operations should be final by Oct. 1, according to a state official, the story said.
