In all the attention being paid lately to big data, business intelligence and other analytics tools lies a simple fact: Investments in information management technologies will fail to perform if government agencies lack the capacity to use these tools to drive better decision-making.
The graphics below are based on Insight IQ, the Corporate Executive Board’s study of 5,000 knowledge workers, which aimed to identify success factors in managing IT investments, with a focus on enabling workers to get better results in the 36 percent of their time spent on collecting and analyzing information.
