Edit PDFs, even by talking, with Converter 8

As if PDFs could not get any more useful for busy feds, Nuance PDF Converter Enterprise 8 is on the scene to add functionality and features to this government workhorse of a file format.
The newest version of the software increases office productivity through PDF editing and sharing features that reduce the steps needed to get jobs done. PDF Converter Enterprise 8 also improves the way users share documents and collaborate via new connections to Web and cloud technologies.
One of the most helpful new additions is the ability to edit a PDF. While the product doesn’t have all the features of a dedicated word processor, it’s extremely easy to learn and manipulate. Users can easily learn how to edit PDFs where they have the permissions to do so. Its pretty much just point, click and type.
PDF Converter Enterprise 8 also allows for collaborative editing of documents. Multiple users can work on a PDF together, or a moderator can enable document and screen sharing along with a chat session to better control this process.
The cloud is not forgotten either. The software takes its collaborative editing process one step further, letting users open and edit PDF documents within the cloud without first having to download them locally. It works with PaperPort Anywhere, Dropbox or Evernote. This version also has new connectors to Documentum and Xerox DocuShare that broaden connectivity to popular document repositories.
As a final plus for Converter 8, it of course works with Nuance’s Dragon Naturally Speaking speech recognition product. That gives it all the functionality of the new software, controlled by voice.
