National Government Chief Architect
Mark Belk is Juniper Networks National Government Chief Architect. Juniper Networks continues to expand its focus on enterprise vertical industries and 2012, Juniper moved to global industry focus. Mark joined Juniper Networks in 2010 and has supported strategic efforts within Juniper’s US Federal government business before transitioning to global responsibilities. Mark has developed a broad government history as a Navy Desert Storm Veteran, a systems integrator focused on Intelligence community systems, and then moved to the product industry supporting government as a DoD and Intelligence Systems Engineer at Microsoft, a Microsoft architect at Treasury, Microsoft’s first Architect for World Wide Homeland Security, CTO for Microsoft Federal Civilian Agencies, and then, expanding into State and Local Government Public Safety while serving as Chief Architect and Director of Engineering for Motorola Public Safety Applications.
