What's holding back federal cloud implementation?

Although federal IT decision-makers increasingly are turning to cloud computing services to save data securely and reduce storage costs, several factors are impeding greater government acceptance, according to a new survey from technology provider CDW.

Interviewers in August and September 2012 polled 155 IT professionals from federal civilian agencies (61 percent) and the Defense Department (39 percent) and found that concerns with security and performance were cited slightly more often than management issues.
