DLA renews deal for data analysis center

The Defense Logistics Agency has renewed a contract with Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. of McLean, Va., to run the Survivability/Vulnerability Information Analysis Center.

The $56 million, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, has three base years and a seven-year option.
Booz Allen has run SurvIAC at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, since 1984.

The center studies non-nuclear weapons and U.S. and foreign aeronautical and surface systems for the Defense Department.

It maintains libraries, computer models and databases, and disseminates them to government organizations and contractors.
