Free PCs connect military families
Northrop Grumman Corp. and Operation Homelink recently donated 100 refurbished PCs to military families in New Jersey, as part of an ongoing effort to help families communicate with service members deployed overseas. Jennifer Lahn gets help from an airman carrying out her new PC system. Operation Homelink, an all-volunteer nonprofit organization, distributes PCs to families of service members in the lowest pay grades and has connected more than 1,200 families. The New Jersey distribution of PCs donated by Northrup Grumman took place at McGuire Air Force Base, Fort Dix, Fort Monmouth and Lakehurst Naval Air Station.
