Tech brief: Space-saving desktop

MPC Computers Inc. of Nampa, Idaho, has unveiled its new ClientPro 212 all-in-one desktop computer. MPC's ClientPro design has been a favorite of the GCN Labs in the past. The system uses the picoBTX (Balanced Technology Extended) form factor for heat management and quiet operation. The new line starts at $999 with an Intel Pentium 4 processor but can be upgraded to a dual-core Pentium D. It also has integrated Gigabit Ethernet and a Trusted Platform Module for added security.
