Acme Portable Machines has introduced a lunchbox-style portable workstation that can capture evidence from off-site SCSI, IDE and Serial Advanced Technology Attachment drives ' three at a time. The AFS-370 runs on a 2.13 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 processor backed by 2G of RAM that isexpandable to 8G. Triple independently operating, write-blocked Tableau bridges allow for inspecting three subject drives at once. Data and image capture is output to triple 500G hot-swappable Serial ATA drives. The system also includes a fixed 120G drive, a slim DVD-RW drive and a MediaBlock card reader for smart cards. www.acmeportable.com
