Google pushes self-driving cars for Nevada's roads
Google has hired a lobbyist to push legislation that would make Nevada the first state where self-driving cars could be
legally operated on public roads, the New York Times reports.
The vehicles are hybrids and have radar and camera sensors and other equipment in the
trunk and a range finder on the roof, the New York Times article states.
Google said last year it had test-driven
robotic hybrid cars for more than 140,000 miles on roads in California, according to the New York Times.
