Birst offers enterprise BI platform
Agencies looking for an enterprise-wide business intelligence tool now have a new option as Birst announced that its cloud-based BI platform is now available on General Services Administration Schedule 70 through its partner DMG Federal.
The analytics platform allows teams to plug into centrally managed data sources like data warehouses or data lakes where a consistent set of business rules are applied to deliver a single version of enterprise data. Users can then work with trusted data on their own.
A fully integrated enterprise BI platform, Birst is designed for both cloud delivery and on-premise deployment as a software appliance. The platform combines components to develop, deploy and maintain reporting, dashboarding, visualization and data discovery solutions. All components share a single unified logical layer of metadata and consistent end-user experience, and all user tools are accessible from a browser.
“Through our partnership with DMG Federal, we can give people in government agencies an easier, more streamlined way to purchase and leverage the industry’s leading Cloud BI solution and help transform them into data-driven organizations,” said said Kim Davis, Senior Director of Partner Marketing at Birst.
As an IT consulting firm specializing in developing BI and performance optimization solutions for government agencies, DMG has an established GSA Schedule 70 contract for federal, state and local government agencies seeking IT products and services. Now, DMG has implemented Birst in its FedRAMP-certified cloud, enabling government agencies to obtain Birst at approved pricing and with license terms from a trusted vendor.
