Digital Reasoning names federal sales director

Digital Reasoning Systems Inc., a Tennessee-based provider of intelligence software products to the Defense Department and other agencies, has named Rick Jensen its director of federal sales.

Jensen, who will work at Digital Reasoning's office in Fairfax, Va., will use his more than 25 years of sales experience to expand sales of the company's data-mining software solutions to the national intelligence community.

Most recently Jensen was director of business development for Seisint Inc., where he led the marketing of the Seisint Data Supercomputer to the Defense, Homeland Security and Justice departments. Seisint was acquired by LexisNexis in September 2004.

From 2000-2004, Jensen worked in various sales-related roles for IBM Software
Group.

'Rick Jensen's experience in sales of technology products and services to the federal
customers will be invaluable to Digital Reasoning Systems as the company continues
growth in the government sector,' said Tim Estes, Digital Reasoning's CEO, in a statement.
