The Web is not immune to year 2000 date foul-ups
Mohnkern is concerned that some talented but twisted mind will write scripts that
exploit this approach. I'm glad to know my ISP is thinking about this and alerting its
customers to the issue.
Mohnkern has also found that the problem is browser dependent. It does not appear to
exist with Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 3.01 for Windows 95, although there are
other bugs in the JScript implementation.
Discover for yourself if your browser is ready for the end of the century. If not,
you have three years to get a new one.
