Government Technology Services Inc. of Chantilly, Va., has appointed Carolyn L. Redmon
to the post of senior vice president of its sales operations unit and has promoted Stephen
L. Waechter to senior vice president. Redmon will be responsible for inside sales
functions; the acting chief information officer reports to her. Waechter is also chief
financial officer of GTSI.

Lawrence J. Schoenberg has resigned as chairman of the board of GTSI. President and
chief executive officer Dendy Young was elected to succeed him.

Ken Carlsen is now director of strategic planning for the Defense Systems Group,
headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colo., of OAO Corp. of Greenbelt, Md. He is responsible
for strategic planning and will be the group’s CIO.
