Customs Service creates five-year, $40 million BPA

The Customs Service recently negotiated a five-year, $40 million blanket purchasing
agreement with ITS Services Inc. to manage the service’s systems development
worldwide.


The Springfield, Va., company will provide end-to-end support for systems development.
In the coming year, ITS will support deployment of a state-of-the-art systems
infrastructure, a Customs official said.


Improvements implemented by ITS will let Customs communicate more easily with its
internal and external customers, including other federal law enforcement agencies, a
Customs official said.
