DIA buys secure browser app

The Defense Intelligence Agency has negotiated a $2.9 million blanket purchasing agreement with BTG Inc. of Fairfax, Va., for development of an enterprisewide digital system to aid its intelligence analysts around the world.

The Digital Production Program Office will provide standard templates that analysts will use to simultaneously search multiple databases using secure Web browsers.

The system will have four elements: digital authoring, database content management, workflow and dissemination. DIA negotiated the BPA under the Defense Department's Integration and Engineering Services II contract.
