Cookie tags help by supplying log file analyses with user-session data

For the most accurate information possible, set WebTrends Enterprise Reporting Server to include cookie data in your log file analysis. Activating cookie support gives more accurate user-session data because each visitor can be unambiguously identified.

The cookie file travels with the browser page request and is stored on the visitor's computer. From then on, cookie information passes back to the server every time the same browser hits the site. In effect the browser is tagged, letting you track visitor activity with confidence and increased accuracy. You can pick and choose from several cookies.
