Share and customize data with project management application

Mesa/Vista 3.5, a project portal for managers who share access to data about projects, lets all participants customize what they see through their MyVista browser portals.

The project management software from Mesa Systems Guild Inc. of Warwick, R.I., is in use at the Office of Mission Assurance at NASA's Langley, Va., research center.

The package is priced by project. It starts at $6,500 per server for managing a single project and goes up to $34,450 for an unlimited number of projects.

Company vice president Alan Hecht said the company does not have resellers but will give discounts to government buyers.

He said the per-server model of software pricing makes all the client seats free, which works better for intranet and electronic-commerce use than the per-user pricing model.
