EPA seeks library contractor

The Environmental Protection Agency this week will receive proposals for its $140 million library support services contract.

In its request for proposals, EPA said it wants a vendor to support 30 networked libraries, which are scattered across the agency's headquarters, regional offices and laboratories.

The project requirements include managing information collection, responding to information requests, and developing Web services for agency and public users.

EPA will award a contract with one base year and four one-year options. In addition to the primary contract, the agency plans to award a sole-source, set-aside contract for information management services to the Indian Tribal Concerns'Alaskan Native Corp.
