Small company wins big pact

NASA and the Transportation Department have awarded a $200 million, five-year services task order to Advanced Management Technology Inc.

The contract is the largest single award yet under DOT's Information Technology Omnibus Procurement program, department officials said.

The Arlington, Va., company will provide engineering and science support to NASA for scientific computing research, development and operations. Advanced Management will support NASA's supercomputing facilities at Ames Research Center at Moffett Field, Calif.

Other NASA centers can also order services through the task order.
