DOT, NOAA set service deals

The Transportation Department has awarded STG Inc. four, seven-year contracts to support systems at the Transportation Acquisition Service Center. The total worth of the contracts is $950 million, said Simon Lee, president of the Fairfax, Va., company.

The company also recently set an $8 million, four-year blanket purchasing agreement to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Climatic Data Center.

Under the four contracts, STG will provide business intelligence services, secure communications, systems migration and remediation, and operational maintenance. At NOAA, the company will manage acquisition data, including dissemination and records preservation.
