JFMIP to issue new guidance

The Joint Financial Management Improvement Program next week plans to release guidelines for federal property management systems.

The 'Property Management Systems Requirements' went through two drafts. JFMIP reviewed more than 600 comments, making revisions to the drafts, before finalizing the rules, program officials said.

JFMIP will release the requirements at a Dec. 1 forum in Washington at the General Services Administration auditorium. For more information about the new guidelines, visit the program's Web site, at www.jfmip.gov.
