Army awards $40m contract for data security

DEC. 22—The Army Communications-Electronics Command Acquisition Center awarded a blanket purchasing agreement Wednesday to Corbett Technologies Inc. to provide information security services to the Army Materiel Command.

The Alexandria, Va., company will provide information security architecture, configuration management, planning, technology insertion and technical support for the Information Assurance Program of the AMC's Acquisition and Technology Division.

The agreement covers a one-year base period with four one-year options and is valued at $40.6 million for the life of the contract.

Corbett recently received an initial task order for $1.4 million to analyze, evaluate, coordinate, plan and implement strategies for the Information Assurance Program.
