IRS shuffles senior IT officers

JAN. 22—The IRS today announced several management changes made in an effort to boost the implementation of projects by its Business Systems Modernization Office.

Bert Concklin, director of business systems modernization, will become the associate commissioner for modernization, a new position reporting to the commissioner.

Bob Albicker, deputy chief information officer, will take over as deputy associate commissioner for systems integration.

Jim Williams, director of procurement, will be the deputy associate commissioner for program management.

Tommy DeWeese, deputy director of the business systems modernization office, will take over as deputy associate commissioner for program planning and control.
