Site catalogs federal e-gov initiatives

Who's doing what on the Web? The Chief Information Officers Council likely has the answer in its online database of more than 1,300 federal sites.

The Inventory of Electronic Government Initiatives, unveiled last month at, offers a systematic catalog of federal electronic-government initiatives. Users can search the database by agency, program type, transaction, customer, distribution method, and key word or phrase.

The General Services Administration's Office of Intergovernmental Solutions hosts the database.
