Byrd leaves FDA for Baltimore consultancy

APRIL 20—Robert J. Byrd, former deputy commissioner and chief financial officer of the Food and Drug Administration, has joined Cedar Group PLC, an international technology consulting firm with offices in Baltimore.

Byrd will serve as national director of the company's federal-sector consulting practice.

He has more than 20 years of experience in program and administrative management at the federal and state government levels.
