DARPA places $65 million PC order under DOT contract

MAY 21—The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency has placed a five-year, $65 million order for information technology services with RS Information Systems Inc.

The McLean, Va., company will provide desktop PCs, expert assistance and network infrastructure support to DARPA.

The Defense Department agency is buying the PCs and services through RS Information Systems' contract under the Transportation Department's Information Technology Omnibus Procurement.
