IRS expands IT staff

The IRS has named Colleen Leighty to be the director of customer care, a new position in the Office of Information Technology.

Leighty will be responsible for improving the quality of service for those who use the agency's information systems.
She will oversee the help desk and other support programs.

Leighty, who has more than 25 years of experience as a systems analyst and manager, will report to Toni L. Zimmerman, acting chief of IT Services.
