CSC is tapped to find Medicare fraud

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has awarded Computer Sciences Corp. a $26 million, three-year task order to improve the accuracy of information about Medicare beneficiaries in nursing homes and those receiving home health services.

CSC will provide project management, fraud investigation and verification services and will identify health and safety issues.

The company will team with Delmarva Foundation of Easton, Md., Lewin Group of Fairfax, Va., ViPS Inc. of Towson, Md., and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations of Chicago.
