• The Eagle Alliance, the joint venture handling the National Security Agency's $2 billion Groundbreaker contract, has completed a three-month employee transition period. Under the contract, 1,000 NSA workers and contractors were hired to work for the alliance. Computer Sciences Corp. is the lead contractor and managing partner of the Eagle Alliance. In November, the alliance began outsourcing work for much of NSA's IT infrastructure, including distributed computing, networking, enterprise management and telephony.

  • The Army has awarded a $163 million contract for information systems support to ManTech Telecommunications and Information Systems of Fairfax, Va. ManTech will provide support throughout the 5th Signal Command, which includes Germany, Italy, Belgium, the United Kingdom and the Balkans.

  • The Naval Sea Systems Command has awarded Anteon Corp. of Fairfax, Va., a task order for $19.5 million to support amphibious assault, command and auxiliary ships. Under the six-year task order, Anteon will provide program management, engineering, logistics and financial management support to the command.
