CECOM center gets a hand with software support

The Software Engineering Center of the Army Communications and Electronics Command at Fort Monmouth, N.J., has hired Science Applications International Corp. of San Diego to perform systems and software engineering support work.

Under an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract valued at $172 million, SAIC will handle software acquisition, architecture and technology tasks for the center.

The contract has five base years and five one-year options.
