Pentagon employees honored for Sept. 11 valor

The Defense Department earlier this month honored 39 employees each with a Medal For Valor for their actions during the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11.

The recipients were employees of the Pentagon's Real Estate and Facilities Directorate. Paul K. Haselbush, director of the RE&F Directorate, and David O. Cooke, director of administration and management for Washington Headquarters Services, conducted the ceremony. Sen. Daniel K. Inouye (D-Hawaii) also attended.
